    Arkman, if you are talking about putting a marker on a spot (looks like a blue push pin), tap the screen and you should see what looks like crosshairs appear with a question mark in blue on the right. Tap the question mark and it will take you to another screen where you will see "marker" on the upper right. Touch "marker" and then at the bottom touch "add". You will have that place marked.

    Hope that helps a little.

    I've not had battery draining problems outa my IPhone when using and as for marki g spots move finger across screen to get crosshairs then put where you want and tap screen once. A page will then come up and in upper right hand portion will say mark, click that and remember you can click on where it says marker #1 and label it as whatever u want then just hit add at bottom of screen and u have it.

    I take a picture. It marks the location. send it to someone (Yourself or friend)and it will pull up google earth and show the location. Along with lat and long
    Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
