Some of you guys who fish Taylor Bay may be able to answer this. What kind of boat ramp do they have? Can you launch any size boat there without difficulty? Just wondering about the facilities as the C.A.C.A. February tournament is there on the 23rd of this month and many may not have ever been there. Thanks to all who share info on this.
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!

I think that's it. It's the one where the Central Arkansas Crappie Association is having a tournament on February 23rd.

as long as water level is is not very low or very high- any boat unloads pretty easy. check any white river markers and if they are normal u r good to go!!!
Hey ski- I went today to do some "prefishing" as - had never been there before either. Saw 2 crappie.com'rs CEB and GOOCH- good seeing you guys. Well the ramp is concrete but slick mud everywhere on ramp from when water got higher. Not a problem launching just you walking around gets everything muddy. Water level looked bout 19 on gauge at ramp and MUDDY. The river itself looked better than the bay did right now. We motored up to the very northern part of it thinking we could find some clearer water but nope. We spider-rigged every dark colored jig tipped with minnows, chartruese jigs with minnows and straight minnows- NOTTA. But it did look like it could hold good fish as there is good bank/shallow water structure areas/timber. Deepest water we found bout 18ft. Saw fish on sonar just coulnt get them to bite. Winds out of NE bout 7-10, water temp 46, air temp 44, and barometer rising, skies overcast. If they do have tourney there, I just hope I have a fish to bring to scales, sure aint expecting to win![]()

My son and I also went yesterday a d except for one white bass had the same results you did.
I'm blaming it one muddy water and the cold but who knows
The ramp is fine but its gonna take awhile to launch if very many show up.
LRJoe- yup same CEB- he works in jonesboro now- he told me yesterday he just doesn't have the time like he used to.......
