Steve good deal you got but I can't pour my own. Wife would kill me if I took up another hobby. When I buy a ton of jig heads I would burn up a ton of lighters to temper the steel . Much better to buy them that way for me.

We fished Nimrod(fall camp) thursday and friday. We lost 25 leadheads and nimrod specials (och).Billy E showed us the litewire hooks. Had jigheads poured with them had not used them.Used the heads Saturday with the litewire didn't loose a jighead fished the same brush piles. Made a believer out of us!!!I like a good hook but when your getting hung and shaking that brush the crappie in Greers Ferry are going to leave. When you can bend the hook and not shake the brush you can catch another fish are two out of it!!! Not to mention getting your jig back. Charlie Brewer slider co also sells a good litewire hook cost alittle more.

Wonder if my 15" crappie would straighten the hooks????All joking aside it sounds like a a good thing. My dad used to use heavy line so he could just straighten the hook, rebend it and go back to fishing. It's not always about losing another jig though, the problem I have with constant breaking off is once you do re-tie you've moved off the spot, and wasted time looking for jigs and re-ting them on. I like to run a 2 jig setup and that takes more time to rig back up with so I can see me trying these hooks, thanks.
Just a tip.....I'd keep a good hook sharpener shirtpocket close at all times and resharpen everytime you have to re-bend a hook. A dull point ain't worth the salt it takes to go on a hamburger. I give my hooks a few licks every now and then anyway just to keep'em dangerous, LOL!
From the ARK-LA-MISS Delta....... Crappie Paradise ! ! ! !
Thanks for the good comments and yes arkansasbowhunter is a good fisherman, good customer and good salesman. I've been fishing the last couple days......here is a few pics of hooks and few slabs caught this weekend at Lake Talquin in Florida. If you'all ever get to Fl......come go fishing with me.
