Thread: Mailbox vandalized...

I can't believe in broad daylight they would try to do this. I roll up from work and look across the yard and at the mailbox I see an old beat up VW van painted up in flowers and stuff and sticking out the window is a baseball bat. I immediately went into attack mode since we've had this problem from time to time before, but never in daylight hours. I immediately jump out of my truck (a big mistake) and take off toward the mailbox yelling and screaming and of course they take off too. Just before they round the corner to go out of sight, a beer can comes flying out of an open window and at that point I get a glimpse of the inside... IT IS PACKED PLUMB FULL OF SLAB CRAPPIE. I know they were slabs because I was able to get a comparison between the beer can that was thrown out and them.

Why were all these slabs trying to vandalize my mailbox? I went on out and checked the box and low and behold, it was then obvious why. This is what was inside.



As I contemplated what had just happened and knowing that my story would probably be brushed off by others as a figment of my imagination, I decided to investigate further. Upon further investigation, I did locate the beer can thrown from the van thus proving that this story is the absolute truth. A chill then ran up my backbone and a great fear came upon me at this thought. What if this roving band of rogue crappie came back at night. With the Silver Foxes now inside my residence, I shivered at the thoughts of what could potentially take place. At these thoughts, I realized there was but one thing to do...
