As far as poles I will only buy Ozark Rods now. You actually have a dealer right down the road from you. PM "Conway" and he can set you up with a pole. The brand of jigs I use is primarily mid south, last weekend was the first time I fished with lake fork minnows and I really like them as well. Jig head I mainly use midsouth and crappie magnet, but I'm not real big on crappie magnet plastic just my opinion though.

As a child I hated coming to lake Conway with my grandpa... We had other places that seemed better at the time.
Several years ago we moved to Mayflower and I decided since I live here I can't afford to fish anywhere else..
I wouldn't trade this ole' mudhole for any other lake around!
