    Default Slowing down

Well my family of crappie guru's I sense that it is time for me to slow down and let others carry a torch for a while. I have really enjoyed all the people who I have met and had the opportunity to fish with from the site. It has been a fun ride for me and I enjoyed the fellowship.

I have asked slab to have a members only forum for the Arkansas members that would contain useful information and encourage more participation. I hope that the waypoints I posted would be stickied in the members only section also or at least stickied to be readily available also. I would hope that others could and would add to the data base but I understand not sharing with the World Wide Web. I am not sure of the status of this feature but if it is something that you guys think might benefit the site don't let the idea perish. Not sure what is involved in doing this but it would increase work for the moderators so extra help may be needed. Slab I am still open to helping with that if needed.

Whether it was due to my opinions and others openly stated about the crappie tournaments locations to be held, I applaud the name change of the association to reflect the locations they are to be held. I wish you guys the best of luck now as I did from day one.

I am especially proud of all the new members who responded to my lurker thread and comments made. The site cannot continue to be run on just the old goobers(me one of them) without new blood brought into to the family per say. Continue to post your results and you will benefit from the others who will post back on your threads. Take what is given and use the information to better your self and your fishing method(s). Develop your own style to make yourself more productive.

To all the pm's I didn't get a chance to respond to on more wypt's I apologize but I don't feel it is the time to disburse more than what I have done on the open forum. The intent was to get more folks involved in that type information but it seems to have been more one sided with folks wanting wypts than giving up some of there own to make the pool of info larger. The agfc wypts are available however not easily obtainable from there interactive mapper.

I have one more thread I will start that will provide useful information to all jig fisherman in the near future. I hope you will enjoy reading it.

I also have fishing products coming that I will need to get to someone for the spring camp for whoever is going to be heading up the door prizes. Please contact me with address to ship to.

Lmbarnet I still owe you and yours a fishing trip and look forward to the day when I can call you and say bring em the bite is on. Thanks for your donation and desire to fish in my boat!!

So what I am trying to say, I guess in a nutshell I will be reading more than typing for now. Tight lines to all!

Dang, brother! That reads like a farewell address! I hope you don't just quit on here because I enjoy your banter. It's always entertaining, and most of the time very helpful. Your post reads like you are not coming to crappie camp! I hope that is not the case. Also, I still want to get in the "Big Red Boat" sometime for some spider rigging instruction! PM me if you ever get that cover build going and I'll come down and help. Let me know if you need more buckets! Now don't be a stranger, you hear?

JW you can bring the products to Spring Camp and I will collect them there. Also If you would put the product in the sponsor sticky that would be helpful. If you cant make it to spring camp... mail it to me. I was wondering if you would be willing to print up the COE waypoint maps around the State Park for springcamp and pass out to member?. Thank You for your product donations.

ABH Though new to the forum and only an occasional fisherman (anytime time and money coincide)lol, I have truly enjoyed your participation and ffort that you put into it.
Hopefully more people will see and understand what it takes to do what you are doing. An HB598 is on me wishlist o replace my 10 yr. old finder. When i do aquire a gps unit i will gladly post coordinates to help who it may. Hopefully this will catch on from state to state so that vacationing members would be able to look some up before they go and make their trip more memorable. I agree that it should be a members only area. People should contribute what they can when they can. Doesn't need to be your current favorites maybe just a couple spots here and there. I personally enjoy finding my own spots but when i am taking company out it would be nice to have a few more spoys to check. Being from Ks. your cood's will not help me but i do appreciate the effort. I have read post's from some who seem to want the whole mile without putting in their nickel. Sorry for the rant. Anyway thank you for the effort from the land of oz.
