    Default Fishing under a light.

Years ago, during the summer when it got to hot to fish we would sit under the 89 bridge with a floating light. We would sometimes go through 1/4lb of shiners.

It hasn't been good at all for the last several years. Last time me went all we caught was some ole yeller bass and some of them hybrid $&@#%*$!

I have heard BeaverFork is good fishing under a light.

    What about you folks?

There was a guy that was out there every night doing the same thing until a few weeks ago. Said he caught over a hundred fish several nights in a row. I sat out there with him a couple times and did pretty well. The bite was good there from early fall to the first part of December, but has been non-existent for me lately. Thats how it goes, I guess.

89 bridge always seems to be hit or miss for me. A couple of oldtimers told me that the bite is really good there and Pierce Creek when they are letting water out of the lake.

This has not been the case lately.

I gave up on the 89 bridge a long time ago. Never had much luck pole fishing there.
