I second that motion. The only upside of the crowds is that I know it brings Dan good business, and he being family in all, I like to see him doing well. Personally, I dont fish there much because of the crowds.

Everyone needs to remember that just because it's public we still need to use repect to those already there first. I was fishing another lake with a Crappie.comer in his boat. When a couple old guys to put it nicely pulled up and anchored on our marker bouy. We pulled up with the bouy touching their boat to retrieve it. One of the guys said that's not bothering us we are used to fishing around marker bouys. All I can say is they were darn lucky we were'nt in my boat. If someone has a marker out fishing near it why would anyone pull up and take it over with them there?

Sorry about brining my boat in on plane, but I was trying to get you off of MY brushpile!!! I will try to go a litlle faster next time, maybe you will learn NOT to fish MY spot!

Ok, I have said before that I am new to all of this crappie fishing stuff......How do those fish know to come hang out under them orange markers.....my 7 year old son....(years ago) ask me that and I have yet to be able to come up with an answer.........

Nimrod.......30 years ago I would have crawled up in that boat with them....and either myself or them ole boys would have met them crappie face to face.....time and life lessons now allow me to just smile and shake my head.....but there was a time!
