Heavyd, i always go when i can. If u don't catch any fish learn the water with the electronics for when the fishing is right. Tow is invaluable!!

I am going to try to go, I think the rain estimates were WAY under what they expected, so give a go, and follow ABH's advice, because you can't catch them on the couch.

Like ABH says. Go when you can! If the fish are not biting, learn the lake, water depth drop some boo buckets and enjoy.

I'm not sure about Saturday yet, I'll check the wind. It's on for Sunday though!

lol yep, pretty easy to see what the crappie are doing if you have some in ya house!!! That water is a little more clear than i am used to tho! (just a little) lol

arkcrappie, i think i'm with you. Saturday they got the winds forecasted to be 10-15 mph, but sunday they are 5 or less.

One thing I don't understand and would really like to learn more about is the barometric pressure and the affects on the fish. I have researched a little before, but haven't stuck with it enough to take anything from it. Anyone got any pointers on this?

Check out the two threads titled Barometric Pressure. One of them has a link that is pretty helpful in understanding the BP and how it affects fishing.
