Default New member here, wanting to try Middle Fork

New member here and new to crappie fishing in general. Me and a buddy hit up the lake in Jacksonport last Saturday and then Lake Hogue last Sunday....nothing. Thinking about trying out Middle Fork up near Greers this weekend. I'll be drop shotting minnows and jigs, figure I would start at the inlet and just work my way in. Anyone got an advice for fishing the Middle Fork area, and also is there a bait shop close by?

Make sure that you bring your bait there is not a anywhere around. I have never tried drop shotting jigs and minnows there maybe someone else could help you with that.

Middle Fork still has a lot of color to it right now. MAy clear up some before the weekend if we don't get any more rain.

Last time I was over at creeks I put a tracking device on his boat. He just thought I was admiring his transport racks. I'm working on an app now to log his tracks when its finished I will pass it along.
