Lurkers Beware

Well, wow. I don't know what I've started here.

I will say a couple of things.

One, I will share ANY INFO I have. Some of it may be general, but I'll tell you what launching ramp I used, and if they were biting in 8 feet of water, about 4 feet deep, on the outside/deep edge of green blowdowns, I'll tell you that. No problem. I probably won't give GPS coordinates, but if you want to give me yours on some of those open water brushtops, I'd be forever grateful! :) I have already, in two days, gotten some great PM's and I appreciate all the help. Seems like good guys.

Two, there are those that just simply don't like big egos. And some of this can get that way, or seem that way.........even if it is true. So maybe that stops some folks from 'bragging'. I never have liked to say how GREAT I did, because invariably, the next time I go is awful. Makes me seem sorta cheap. And I'm only "cheap" and "easy" around Mama! :) Course if you saw her, you'd understand, as she's the best looking 63 year old woman on this Planet. Anyway, as it's been said, this site is not the only grapevine....my fishing buddy can't keep his mouth shut at ALL, heck, he'll draw maps to all comers every time we get lucky. But he does it at the coffee shop, he ain't on the computer. And there are 10 others just like him down there. So when you see that line of boats waiting on you to leave "their" new hole so they can move in, understand that maybe they didn't learn all that because you gave some info on here. STILL, I do get it..........this stuff is hard enough (for me) and if/when I find something that works, it's human nature to want to go back and not have to fight for air to breathe. I do think that some of my open water brushtops could easily be fished by 3 or 4 boats, though..........but 'we' never do that (or I don't), cause we don't interfere. Maybe that makes us nice folks, I dunno.

It looks like it'll be weeks before I actually get off my fat seat and go fishing.........but when I do, I will report in, either way. Be sure of that.

Enough rambling. I told you I can't shut up sometimes.....but I ain't lurking anyway!!! :biggrin:

I don't know, he won't let me go there cause he's afraid he'll have to buy coffee. He ain't ever bought anything in his life, he always finds a way for me to. So I am not sure. I find all this out second hand from all the "Thank you's" that I get, and I don't even know what I've done.

Well well well...This page goes from Lurkers to limit post haters...even such terms as liars, braggers and BS. Ive been on this site along time and would never directly or indirectly make a referance towards somebody like that. I post allot of limits and allot of fish period and always try to give information to help folks catch fish and allot of times try to write a story with it so it isnt boring. This can be hard because there seems to always be a negative attitude presented or the jealousy monster raises its ugly head, or its your fault CP making my fishing hole crowded. I can only fish Saturdays, even had a few members try to pull up to my boat and strong arm me. It's funny how it always seems to be the ones that hardly ever post a fish pic or report a catch. Liar/Never!!!, BS'er/Just a Little, Bragger?/Just sit back in your office chair and watch another limit hit the board. Your darn right I like to Brag...

Hahahahaha!!!!!! Wait, one more bwaahahahahahaha.......whew!!! You guys are too much!!!

Haven't seen anyone called a liar.

But again, if I started something bad among a group of good friends, I apologize. I have no bad intentions whatsoever. It appears "lurkers" are bad, and I felt guilty, so I spoke up, and have tried to chit chat.

Don't want to make waves.

I Lurk therefore i am. Being currently unemployed with no benefits, lurking is about all i can afford at the moment. I would be happy to post a report good, bad or ugly if it meant that i actually got the chance to wet a line. When i do get that chance i wil post and invite anyone who want's to meet and share a good day on the water.

Oh ABH, I thought bragging and gloating went hand and hand with posting. How else are people going to be the center of attention and in the spot light. I like this site, and I like to see big fish but a limit is a limit is a limit. What it boils down to is that everyone can contribute. I encourage everyone to contribute. I would contribute more but it only draws bigger crowds.
