Where is horseshoe lake?? sounds like it may be a great place to go!

All corp of engineer lakes require a special use permit each time you have a sanctioned event!! I have all the info and I am getting everything set up for Dardanelle now! I will check into how long you have to set up a permit prior to a tournament that way whatever lake we go to in May I will have it covered.
Thanks for the info Jason. With me being new to about every thing here, I did not know what or how thing worked. Is the $60 dollars entry fee is that per man or boat?
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.

Fishing is tough over here. Not only are they known as paper mouths, in this area, they are known as paper bodies due to how thin they are. Actually, I just think ya'll are afraid to come over and fish for these 8 inchers on my home lake

BTW, the wife just called and said she would be off early and wanted to hit the lake and catch a mess of paper bodies.

The Horseshoe I was referring to is right at Thompsons Grove. That is just south of West Memphis and just north of Midway lake

They do have a lot of bass tournaments there every year but the are no facilities.

Expanding to regional events would make sense also, but ya gotta START somewhere. There isn't gonna be a completely level playing field regardless of where ya have em!!!!!!

Im new to the site and new to tournament fishing but this post makes alot of sense. You wont be able to please everybody no matter how hard you try.

The way my job is set up I doubt Id be able to make very many but it sounds like alot of fun to me and Ill sure try to make one or two depending on when and where they are.

Just my 2 cents, but some of the guys posting about fair locations fish central AR more than some of us in "Central AR".

    Just a thought

I can do a few things on the computer and if there's anything I can do to help you put this thing together let me know.

I also own a couple of hunting message boards and might be able to help promote a little bit once everything gets decided if that will help any.
