This year we have no membership dues or requirements all you have to do is show up at the designated registration site and we will do a check in where we will gather entry fees and have everyone sign a release wavier and understand the rules we have posted. Right now I have been getting most everything set up but Midsouth man has helped out so we really dont have officers set up yet but I have spoke to several guys that are willing to step up and anyone else that would be interested in helping please let me know!!

Where is horseshoe lake?? sounds like it may be a great place to go!

All corp of engineer lakes require a special use permit each time you have a sanctioned event!! I have all the info and I am getting everything set up for Dardanelle now! I will check into how long you have to set up a permit prior to a tournament that way whatever lake we go to in May I will have it covered.

Great!! Where is taylor bay? Can you fish out of Bass boats there?? It would be Feb 23!

I also found out permits for Corp lakes have to be submitted 30 days prior and may or may not be approved!! so I have Dardanelle turned in. Also each permit cost $50 dollars so we may have to either take out of entry fees or maybe do a membership fee?

Yes u can fish bass boats its right north of hwy 64 bridge that crosses the white river right before agusta... its prolly 20 to 25 ft deep at the deepest but plenty of water to have a 15 to 20 boat tournament.

Yes as long as the water is up you can fish it in a big boat. There are 2 possible ramps for it. One is owned by Bob Glover which puts you right into Taylor Bay which he charges 2 or 3 dollars to use the ramp. The other ramp is a AGFC ramp in down town Augusta and puts you into the river and you can motor up to Taylor Bay. If we used the AGFC ramp you could go up or down White river fishing either Taylor Bay, the river itself or one of the many oxbows that you sometimes may get into from the river.

If yall like the looks of this I can talk to the owner of the boat ramp and see what I can work out. Also see what additional parking he could have for us.
