The closer I would get to the nest the more noise it make. Eagles are nice to watch when there fishing. I got to take out my bigger camera to get some better pictures. I did not realize my phone camera sucks so bad. I had a hour and run over to see how the fish was biting there and only got one so i turn him lose.

Love watching the Eagles......I threw a yellow bass to an Eagle one time and actually got to watch him swoop down within 75 feet of my boat and scoop it up in his claws. I wish that I had gotten a video of that.

Great things to see out on the water Gindog , thanks for posting. Last year I saw a Great Blue Heron swoop down to pick up a small Crappie only to have to let a Eagle have it . Hope you can get more photos to share.

I hope y'all don't throw rocks at me for this, but I was trout fishing on the White River below Calico Rock last year or year before last and watched a mature bald eagle flying upstream pretty low, so I started watching him. He flew right over me and then flew coupla hundred yards upstream, turned around, lowered his altitude and flew along the water a little ways then swooped down and caught a rainbow trout in his claws and flew off. It was cool to see and he was close enough I could actually see the trout flouncing and flopping! Majestic birds, them eagles!
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
