Thread: Help with Shoal bay

I've put in and motored up white water rapids
to the mouth of a creek just below Dam. I was sitting
between two trees when it got really quiet
15 seconds later my boat was dry docked on the
bottom they turned the water off and it dropped fast.
the first day or two after they close dam they bite well
just below dam. hwy 7 bridge is a lot safer place to bank fish

I was under the impression a siren was sounded when water was changed? Could be only when increased but I'm not sure. I would not venture far down stream, if the Corps shut off water you could be stranded below rock shoals.
