    Default Lake Dardanelle help please

i have a good friend that just told me some good news about the shoal bay are. he said that there used to be a place there that used to sell gas on the water, does anyone know where that is or what he is talking about??? and he told me stories and a reason to switch to bigger stronger hooks when i go to dardanelle. he said back when he was in his mid 30s to early 40s that he would catch some big fish in the narrows and they kept straightening his hooks out so he switched to 5ought hooks because the fish were so big there.. if anyone who fishes dardanell would be willing to help, i would should appreciate it!!!

Shoal bay is off 22, dock is gone but COE park there. Use exteme caution because the bay it self is shallow and hads huge stumps! They catch some fish in the channel and the bay should be a good spawning area to fish but like I said it is a bad place to motor.

Thanks for the advice. My friend said that the narrows is pretty deep though do you think it's good enough to Motor, or is there a better spot to start fishing Dardanelle.
