Xring and i drove to the lake to look around. The Illinois was MUDDY. Stip pits was muddy. All of Ouita was muddy. The main lake was clear except the west banks where the intake is because of muddy Mill creek running in, so the discharge will be muddy. The dam is not releasing any water so the river is clear but the mud will only stack up in the lake. When or if they open gates it will pull the mud out fairly fast. Russellville got 5.3 inches and Piney got 3 to 4" so I am sure it is muddy too but I'm not positive. I dont know about Shoal bay but I would bet it is pretty dirty.
One thing for sure is the lake is a cold rough windy place.
It ain't nuttin but luck.
