Default Wet day on the water

Not many ventured out. I saw Xring and a few others , very few. X caught a limit and left after kicking a fishing rod in. He got lucky and a guy from Greenbiar hooked it and let me carry it back to him. I invited him to check out the forum and Crappie camp this spring. I stayed and tried to catch some bigger fish but finally rain pushed me off the water. Did bring in a limit on jigs anyway!
Yes Harold I got a little wet , but not bad . Quit just before the bad heavy rain hit!

I was riding four wheelers and got a flat like 12 miles from the truck and then it started pouring. Woo hoo and bass pros bone dry gear is by far not even close to "bone dry" complete waste of money.
"my wife" crappie fishing is a jerk on one end waiting for a jerk on the other."

Actually, I was lifting a hefty crappie over the side of the boat,,he managed to flounce on the front deck, flipping the rod and reel overboard, I calmly surveyed the situtation, LOL, well, I blush to think of my words..then I tied a jigging spoon on a bass rod and tryed unsuccessfully for a hour to retrieve the lost rod and reel,,then big NASTY rain drops started, so I left for home.
Before I got to my sisters place, NIMROD called to tell me a fisherman I had talked too had snagged my rod. My thanks to that gentleman for sending it with NIMROD, it was delievered to my door....I have found that most fishermen are a cut above the ordinary people! Thank you so much, if you are reading this!

What are the odds!!!! Just another case of crappie fishermen helping other crappie fishermen! Great story, man. Glad you got your rod back.
