I've got 16 ft C&C, but an Ozark jig pole. Love em all. The Ozark trolling rods look and feel good. Don't think you'll go wrong with either.
You oughta check out grizzly jig. With the 3 pole discounts, you might get 6 as cheap as 5? Their spring show is coming up later in Jan, and they'll have some good sales along with the seminars.
I'll give ya a good deal on the pro series trolling rods from Ozark. I stock the 14' and 16'ers.
I have a set of the Capps and Coleman's too, and they are great rods also, but they don't have enough backbone for me. I do like them tho.

I've used both C and C's and Ozarks in 14 footers. For me, Ozarks are the choice although both poles are really nice. My main reason for picking the Ozarks is that they have a much stronger backbone. When u lift a fish to swing it in the boat you can control the fish much better than the C and C's. the C and C's have a tendency to roll on you and you cant control the fish nearly as easily. That being said both poles are great choices. PM Conway on here about the Ozarks and he will set you up if you go that route.

How good of a deal brm? lol and i wouldnt mind a lighter rod since i jus use 1/4 oz of weight per rod....would the ozark still b light enuff with tht amt of weight and still detect bites well and smooth out a windy day to keep my jigs from bouncing everywhere
I use 14' ozarks for slow trolling and B&M pro staff for pullin crankbaits. I would get the ozark for your application. the tips are so sensitive you can see a minnow pass gas.
