I got a new piranha fillet knife from my bride for Christmas. I was anxious to try it out so I made a quick trip to the lake about 10:30 this AM. By 2:00 I had 18 nice crappie to practice on with my new knife. I really did like it after I got use to the sharp blades. The fish were on ledges in 25 to 30 fow. Used a Char and white umbrella 1/ 8 oz jig with a split shot above it. They were really firing up. Forgive me for not limiting out but I had to be home by 3:00. Very few boats out and was a pleasant day.

The hardest part of using a new knife is gettin used to it being sharp. The dull ones don't cut thru em. Lol
