    Default Hamby installation

Anyone know of a dealer in central arkansas to install a Hamby keelguard on my boat. I'm in the Greers Ferry area.

The Keelguard comes with a video. Isn't that hard to do.

Red river marine, or Travis boating center should be able to take care of you on that hamby install. There is a place up there around the narrows that sales bass cat boats, I only know the owner of the dealership as Stanjack but he is also a real good boat mechanic and accessory installer.

The KeelGuard does come with a video. But the true "Hamby" can only be sold to boat dealers or fiberglass repair shops as it takes epoxy and a series of braces and straps to properly install the real "Hamby" protector.

Never done the Hambys. Don't the Keelguard, and the Keelshields. We don't do much glass.

Nat I bet the guy on the right between your store and the narrows can install it for you. I can't think of his name but they are in the same building with "Fishing Stuff"

Slick, I think you are refering to Stanjack.

Thanks Slick! Hope to connect with you soon. My last day here in Memphis is 1/25. Will be a Higdenite full time at that point. Didn't realze that Stan had moved to Greers. He was in NLR @ Crystal Hill. I40 Boatworks.

Unless it's something different than the rubber keel guard I put on my boat back in like 99 they are really easy to put on and considering I'm not rich i'd just do it myself. I think the video might help on how far down the hull to run it cause from what I've seen those things are so long I would want to go all the way to the tow loop and you'd still have plenty of protection way down the hull. To tell you the truth I can't remember how mine is stuck on there, it's never gave me a problem since 1999....I must've done it right cause I'm sure glad I've had it all this time cause in my book it's a must have to save your hull.
