I make the stand with 7/8 aluminum tubing and the rail mounts like you see on a ski boat bow. I cut a piece of 3/16 aluminum in a larger diameter with a hole saw for mounting my Ram Mount to the top of the stand. You can get the tubing and the mounts ( I use the round mounts now, but have used the rectangle ones to) at most marine dealers or marine supply houses.

BTW, I make custom side trolling racks and rear trolling racks with the same material, with Driftmaster holders on them.

I've fished out of the H18PFC, and they fish and Ride (Pad Hull) really well. I might be biased, but I think Xpress is the finest High Performance Aluminum Boat (Bass Style) you can buy. It's the Ranger of aluminum boats with its Hyper Lift Pad Ride Hull, and it's horse power ratings.
