Thread: A chance to fish and Hunt today

Well got an invite to fish with xring today so supergoose and I loaded up to headed north. Got to the designated boat ramp and started to unload our gear into xrings boat when the adventure begins. First off I noticed a big sign in his boat saying no Spanky Jigs or spider Rigging poles in the boat, single rods only. The second sign I saw was no GPS is allowed other than boat owners and we would have to swear to an oath of secrecy. So I go back to my truck and put all my poles back up and break out one single rod. After loading our extensive equipment to include one pole one tackle box each we were ready to go fishing. X-ring pulled up to one of his favorite spots triangulating the specific point to fish and we lowered our Jigs into the water. Well ol xring yanks out The first five fish in no time flat and says to us, "You guys can help me catch fish anytime you want".
Goose and I were definitely out of our element using just one pole. After a bit we started to pull up a few fish however goose was confused on the type of fish we were supposed to catch. And the rules from xring continued to flow lol. If you catch 3 of any other species you have to get out of the boat LOL. Good thing ol goose only caught one more extra species and Was allowed to stay and fish.
And yes I even managed to catch a few myself
We had a blast hunting and fishing today just check out sharpshooter x-ring as he is at full draw describing one of his hunting stories!

Goose and I had a blast today xring, thank you for blessing us with the opportunity to fish and share time together on the water with you. Good to see other Croppie.com Erse on the water today Mr. Nimrod!!! We ended the morning with a nice box of fish can't post a picture as the amount and Quality is supersecret.

The bonus of the day was watching x-ring catch this big ol slab with a 4 inch brim in its mouth. I cannot divulge the secrets on how this fish was caught but I learned a new technique just to saying that!!
