Hey Canebreaker:

Yes, it's common practice to pull boats up on the bank in front of your campsite. We leave our tackle and everything right in the boats and have never had anything "disappear". With the lake down though you may need 100-feet or more of extension cord to charge your batteries.

You may also want a piece of carpet to protect the bow of your boat and to wipe your feet on to help keep your boat clean.

We don't have a head count but I expect 30 or more will show up sometime during Fall Crappie Camp.
