    Great Catch... that River Has some monsters in it. I remember one day several years ago fishing some back waters and finding 12 fish all between 16-18 inches long.

    Nice mess, what part of the River are you fishing. Me and the wife were thinking of moving to the Fort Smith area and I'd given thought to fishing the river more in the future myself but didn't know how the fishing would be up there?

    if you want to catch fish consistently move to the russellville area or some were in so.east ar. those are the best to areas in the state for a crappie fisherman !!!!!!

    The key to catching crappie consistantly is not always geographical location, the key is to find a lake and pick it apart until you figure out how to catch them constantly and consistently. Then you have figure out how to catch crappie. Every lake has a key that will open the door to a multitude of fish catching opportunities, you just have to put the time in to find that key.

    That is a good river catch. The river has plenty hogs in it.
