He will make the Hogs competive again, but lets face it he is from the Big 10...and never really dominated there and I dont remember him ever getting close to a National Championship in the Big 10. Which is not the SEC. My fear is we will just be right below the BAMAs, LSU's, Gators and Bulldawgs of the world. He will field good Hog teams much like he did in Wisc... but I have my doubts that he can ever field a dominating National Championship caliber type team in the SEC. Time will tell. Go Hogs...and Welcome to the SEC!!! Bielema you got a tough road to Hoe.

the little cheesehed piggies will always be below bama, lsu and several others. it's the better schools that draws the better players and coaches two. the piggies will never be there with the better schools. the cheesehed piggies. it has a ring to it.

not sure I am drinking the cool aid that we will always be below bama,lsu, and others. These schools have had their struggles along the way and our timing just hasn't been right , that is how we won the west division bama was down and so was lsu. I don't know if this guy is the answer but I am going to be behind him 110% until he proves he can't get it done . I do think what arkansas has been missing is a good recruiter coach combination, maybe this is our guy ? Who he hires as coordinators will tell the true story if we can gain a step on the other SEC schools are not .... going to be interesting . GO HOGS!!!!

Old...come on... if you know college football you know Bielema will produce good, disciplined, well coached teams... that will Pound the Rock and have good Defense's. That's his style and it has worked for the most part and will work in the SEC. He is going to beat allot of the Powerhouse school's in the SEC...trust me. The trick is will he ever be able to beat them all in a season to make it to a National Championship. (Maybe Not) but as long as Arkansas is having winning seasons and making bowl appearances I'll be happy. Old even you got to admit he is allot better than what they had.. and even tho you won't admit it.. you know he will be a solid coach for the Razorbacks.
I think Jeff Long made the best hire he had available. Bielema will be a good coach and produce several winning seasons and bowl appearances for the Razorbacks Go Hogs....
