Good going!!! Were you fishing the ends of the piers or in the middle? What color jigs? I went the middle of last week & fished in the rain--caught about 20. They didn't start biting 'til the rain started, though. Caught most of them under one pier while it was raining pretty hard.

Most of the time i use 1/16 oz fishn in depths greater than 5 fow... If its real windy i will use 1/8 oz or put a small split shot on it to get it down a lil quicker.. Use a small hair jig in shallow water

Thanks for info. I was thinkin a 1/32oz. would be the one to use for a slow fall. Guess what ever you feel comfortable with. I've got to get over and try that dock shooting.

i just cant ever seem to get a 1/32 to shoot very far like the 1/16, but all the lakes that i fish dont have docks. mostly just brush or man-made structrure, cant complain though when the fishing is great.

Although i do catch alot of fish while jig is on the fall.. I like to get it down quicker and work it back slow, slow, slow
