"Walker733". Mr.Walker's bid was one of MANY very generous bids received and his bid topped all others. Never did I imagine this event would find so many of you digging deep into your budgets and making an offer that any charity will be proud of and gracious to receive. After discussion with Mr.Walker and per the rules laid out on the event, the winning bid will now be made public. Mr. Walker made a winning bid of $800.00 dollars. I am almost speechless by his generosity and his heart felt need to support this cause.

Coordination has been made and the trip is scheduled very soon. Stay tuned for pictures of the event to include results of the trip, prize donations and the winning bid donation being made to the charity of his choice.

Its not everyday we get to enjoy good news, especially the way the world is today. But just to give you guys some idea of how many good people are still in the world today, I offer the following information about this event. I received over 175 bids on this event, 200 comments on the event and 25 donations to the winning bidders charity of choice, all of this in less than a week. Just goes to show you, no matter what, good people and good causes will create good results.

I, personally, thank all of you for the support received during this event.

Dennis and all the others that bid on this wonderful process, I appreciate more than anyone can know what this means to me and my family. I have a daughter that has spent her entire life with many of the great facilities here in Arkansas. She was born with a life changing defect that caused her to entire life in many wonderful facilities. Our pledge with Dennis is to the Conway Human Development Center where she has been for the past 12 years and we would appreciate any other donations that this group of Arkansas Crappie.com could provide as you know our government has recently changed the way that they support these type facilities.

My hat is off the Dennis and his wonderful offering of this process.

I look forward to meeting Dennis and many others of this forum..

Congratulations Mr. Walker, you are getting to go fish with a real gentleman, Dennis is a fine specimen of generosity and kindness in putting together such a event. I hope that you guys get to have a trip of a lifetime.

I wonder how big this type of event would/could be. Get several guides across nation to do the same type auction during same week of year for charity- I'm sure many people would like to participate.........I'm not a guide, just saying......
