I really like the boo. Fill your bucket or box, don't matter. Stuff it full as you can. Throw overboard. Boo floats up, weight go down. Sets upright. And on top of all that, it is to get out of if you get hung up in it. Can make big tall piles or wide ones. I like to take four 10 to 12ft pieces in my buckets, after they dry, lay long stocks of boo in x pattern and fix it in the top half of stocks sticking up. If that makes since.

Check out Jerry Blake website Action Fishing Trips and see how they do it. And look at ALL the fish he catches over them.

Unless the water level drops to low, you almost never have a bamboo bucket turn over. Even on some fairly sloped bottoms, we haven't had problems with them turning over. Unless, like I said, the lake level drops to much and they get out of water....then they will turn over. The Corp. put some out that turned over for that reason.

I saw something on a lake at low water once. Make your pvc buckets or boxes with 1 1/2 or 2". Drill a few holes in it, small ones for screws, larger ones for wire. Put limbs or boo in the pvc and set it out. When the water is low again the wood can be replaced.

And I should say I fish a deep clear lake where we fish 8 to 20+ ft deep. I would like to try and do some buckets with my uprights only about 18" above bucket and lay boo across to make a big mat and put in 4 to 6ft water.

Not needed on Bamboo as it floats.

Try using bucket lids to push boo through , weight down in middle and butt ends. These laydowns work great for us on Nimrod.

Always hear that but wondered if it would cause it to float up off bottom and stray during any current at all, boat wash, ect. I'd thought about doing that and using a hugh weight to try and keep it down.

That shouldn't be an issue as long as you use enough weight and use a small bottle.

Put an ad on craigslist. I'm sure you'll find it that way.
