BWAHAHAHAHA, them gals will do ya that way. I agree, poor dawg!!! Lol

I have a lot of friends in the Hot Springs area due to the fact that I sell Xpress, and Alweld boats which are both built over there. I drive over and pick up boats once or twice a month. I'll ask around and get you some info. Lake Hamilton has some great crappie fishing in it, but I don't know squat about Catherine. The locals should be able to get you started. There's some might fine folks over in that area that would be glad to help ya!!!!! Might try the local bait shops too.

You could just use yer binoculars and look for fishin boats. Lmao

BTW, there is some great walleye fishing in the river at Malvern, and in the lakes too. Had a guy at the Xpress plant caught a 12lb walleye in the river at Malvern last year while bass fishing. I think he casts while he drifts down river.

There's got to be some good fishing on Catherine if for no other reason than it doesn't seem to get a lot of pressure. I know there are quite a few brush piles in the lake and I would start looking for them. Once you find the cover you will find the fish. I know Catherine fluctuates a lot depending on how much water they are letting go at Carpenter Dam. I truly don't know how the flow will affect the fish and their feeding cycles but I bet if you figure that one out you will learn how to catch them.

How could you move away from Helena? You left some fine fishin holes down there. But don't worry, I'll keep an eye on them!!
