    Crappie have already pulled into shallow areas here. I been catching them 6-8' of water on stakebeds near the bottom. The bites are not fast but they really thump it. Still using Meatgetter's Spanky and Silver/white umbrella tubes in 1/8 oz size. Went out about 4.00 pm and caught about 13 with 7 keepers for supper. Fried them whole for a little change.

    Welcome. I fish when the following conditions are met:

    1. I don't have to work.
    2. I'm reasonably sure the weather won't kill me.

    And I agree with the rest on post front fish. Low n slow.
