I use 11'. Honestly don't know what brand it is because it's two different poles put together lol:

I like my Ozark 11' rods for vertical presentations, I prefer a 12' rod for spider rigging. And if I am casting a jig under a cork I like my Ozark 8' rod. Ozark rods are some of the best crappie rods I have used, I have used several brands, Ozark gets my vote hands down. Donald/ Conway is your Ozark rod connection, give him a shout cause he can hook you up.

X2 call Conway/AKA Don Blakely... I also absolutely love the 10 foot Ozark out of a smaller boat also. that thing is one tough little feather in your hand.

Nothing feels better to me than a 10 footer with a rear reel seat with a zebco t11 spooled full of 6 pound original fluorescent stren tied to a 1/32 ounce jig head out of the second position of my custom mold (cloning the original garland head ) fitted with a solid body black/chartreuse or red/ white skirt. I feel I get better control and precision with less strain on my old arms. I fish oxbows andmore shallow waters so 8-9 feet is about my maximum depth. The 10 footer is perfect. 11-12 footers are more unwieldy. Just putting together a trowling rig with some 18-14-12-8 combinations. Now to start a 14 ft spider rig! Works great for me but maybe not for your style.

X2. I used mine for the first time last weekend, and it wuz the bomb!!! I have the rear reel seat model, and its very well balanced, and sensitive. I use the Ozark 16' trolling poles, and they are the best I've ever used, and I've tried them ALL!!

I use a 11' BnM Brush Cutter for vert. jiggin. Some times I only have 1' of clearance to set the hook and they have backbone to the tip and light. I use 14' Ozark to troll with and love them. I am thinking about getting one of those Ozark Jig pole I hear some much about.

It's Todd Huckabee signature series rods for me. Love the backbone on 10' Meat Draga and 11' Pulling.

I like a 11 footer all around. I have all b&m jig poles right now but I'm in the process of changing that. I have a camo brush cutter that I really like. I also have 3 SAMs super sensitives 2 in 11 foot and 1 in 10 foot and a Russ bailey signature series thats 10' 6". I will have a rear seat 11 foot ozark or 2 to try out soon I hope.

I use an 11' Grizzly Elite in most cases for vertical jigging and 14' poles for my trolling (spider rig). I think it mainly has to do with what you are comfortable with. Balance is a lot to consider to so your arm doesn't wear out.
