Some crappie sure gonna be proud. Will post up gps coordinates and an online map when I get them dropped. I've even included a new pack of orange buoys for ABH
The goal is to get enough spots so I don't need to spider rig. Best trip with the jig pole only has been 5 fish, hope that will change soon.

Hey , don't you have any old fence rows with Persimmon that need cleaned out? We just sunk a large trailer load in Nimrod last week. Those will work but don't look very durable?

Baaawwwwaaaa who needs coordinates and buoys when you got the lowrance hds units. I come find em with out all that stuff. I bet your using minners too now since you giving up the spidering lol. I see you are using my black buckets he he. I got another 70 to build myself just can't get motivated yet. Hey when am I gonna get to fish all them things you been putting out??

They are not very durable. You need to replace about every year or so, but they do get fish on them fast. The short ones are for spring, the tall ones are going where I think will be good fishing this fall. I could probably come up with some cypress which would last me till I die.
The buckets are a great idea ABH, and I expect them to work well. For the taller structure, I am still using 5 gallon buckets to counter the top heaviness. I got a lb of minners in the tank right now. I use them a large percentage of the time spider rigging, but never vertical jigging. I will cast them with a slip float from time to time especially during the spawn. I had not bought any throughout the summer from spring camp time to fall camp time just because they are hard to keep alive, but as long as it stays cool, I'll try to keep some around to use whenever I want to.
A person does not need coordinates when he has good electronics, if he knows how to use them, but it does save time knowing where you're going ahead of time. As far as the buoys, I know you don't need those in YOUR boat. Come and fish anytime there will be plenty of room for another boat once the weather gets cold. I figure you could show me a thing or two about fishing, and everyone knows I need all the help I can get.![]()
