I just lately installed the plate from BPS made of polyethylene and put 2 transducers on it. It says you can silicone it on or screw it on with 2 screws. The one I got was 4 in x 12 inx 1 in thick. It lets you move ducers around if need be without extra holes in boat. 19.95 plus shipping. Seems good so far.

Did you use silicone or screws? I have not found many products that bond to polyethylene.
