suffix is a good line but the orange fades bad and after a few trips it get hard to see!!!! suffix has a hi-vis yellow is real good but it is hard to find !! i have that on my spidder riggin poles (12lb) mr. crappie is not a bad line but the largest it come is in 10lb. lake fork tackle has a new line that is coming out with i think is going to be great !!!! it's a hi-vis yellow- orange it's floracarbon coated is a smaller diameter than the others i have been testing it a while now and it will be a t a good price also can't wait till it hit's the shelf!!!!

I've talked to alot of people about the line Jerry and your the first to mention a fading problem. Thanks for the heads up ill let you know what kind of mileage I get out if it. I looked for their hi-vis yellow but the smallest test I could come up with was 20. Ill keep an eye out though.

Most folks dont fish as much as jerry though lol. I saw the line when he used it and it was faded.

Yeah I know Jerry fishes more than the average joe. I believe him but I'm stubborn enough to want to see for myself. Online the brand and I've heard plenty good about it but depending on how fast it fades it may not be cost effective. I guess I could backfill my reels with regular clear mono and just put the last 30 or 40 yards the orange suffix. I don't troll or longline or anything just single pole tight lining.

That actually is a good idea though. I have 1400 yards of some cheap 4lb mono that i bought by accident. I used to use it for leader when trout fishing but i dont do much of that anymore.

if your going to use it on a jig pole might be ok !!!! that's a little different than on trolling poles and open reels. besure when the new line from lake fork tackle come available to the public give it a try it will come in 6,8and 10lb it does a fantastic job on trolling poles and the jig pole !!!! it's the most sensitive line i have ever used ,i think have used about every brand of line made .i think it will become the top crappie line once it get's on the shelve and the word get's out!!!!!!!!!
