OK everybody take it easy on ABH. He knows I am a minnow user 1 hook or 2 at times it makes a difference finding fish in the water column. And if more people had his jig pushin skill, less minnows would be sold. I feel there are times in the year and different lakes that minnows will out fish jigs. In the fall I feel that minnows are the bait of choice. If you want to keep your line in the water use jigs. They are a lot easier to fish. If I were to put a time clock on me for minnows vs jigs it would be about even. Nimrod is a bad lake to do the test. I think you could take a limit Hoggin a brush pile there.ABH has fine tuned his skill to the point that he thinks there has to be another way. There is another 100 ways. If I can ever get back in my MSriver oxbows 9 times out of 10 I push jigs or single pole. If I fish the big 4 in MS 10 times out of 10 I will push minnows. As far as running up in a brush pile it dont matter if you have a jig or minnow, you are in trouble. Thanks again ABH and keep up all the research.

Hey billy enjoyed the trip with ya and learned some stuff watching you kill those minners lol. I am constantly looking to improve what I know and how I fish. By fishing with more folks we can all learn. I can't wait to fish some of those lakes with ya and put the jigs back to the test. My luck on Washington wasn't due to jigs but inadequate knowledge of the lake and where the fish were at the times I fished em. I just need some jigs made now.
