Thread: Top jig colors

Done pretty good until I went "overboard" chasing my new Ozark jiggin' pole! It was getting late so we headed in before it was dark and colder. I don't know for sure but we probably have 20 or so in the ice chest. We didn't go out until about noon. I lost a good 1 3/4 lber while casting a RoadRunner by trying to lift him over the side of the boat instead of grabbing the net laying right there.

Pink/chart (electric Chicken), black/chart, white/chart, silver/chart... heck, I like anything with chart in it, Electric Chicken is my go to color eveyday though. Caught 90% of my fish this year on it.

Go to colors for me depend on water clarity. It's all about shadows and silhouettes. Once you figure this out, you will increase your catch by 80%. It's a formula between water clarity and light penetration.......
