Me and a buddy went to the lake yesterday and had a ball. Wasn't sure about how it was going to turn out judging by the fishing report we got at the store. People that were up there were saying they had only caught a few the last couple days. We kept 37 crappie and one bass. I did not count how many were over 12" but I would have to say nearly half. Lot of 10" fish. Caught them in shallow water(4'). I know I am going to get criticized but they all fell to a shinner. When I was cleaning them I noticed they were full of shad. My biggest fish was 14".

Fish are following Shad if you can find them . Jiggin brushpiles is slow right now. Good report but we do like photos.

I would upload some pics if I could figure out how to do it. When we were fishing there was no wind at all. Water was like glass. We had to keep the boat moving or the fish would not bite. They were ticky ticky about that and they were not in deeper water or shallower water either. 4' exactly. Maybe one of yall could give me some instructions on sending uploading photo's. Thanks
Oh and by the way, we caught a handful of black crappie too. I dont remember catching any on Nimrod before.
I always host my photos on a site such as shutterfly. Once the photo is there you just right click and copy its location and paste in over here. There other ways to do it too but that is the way I'm familiar with.
