But it so much fun aggravating the local guide. If you've caught a lot of 14 to 16'' Crappie I want to borrow your ruler.

Nimrod, if it was to rough for you to fish the open lake it must have been a handful out there. We are all due a non-stellar day every once in a while. Some of us have them more often than others LOL. Regardless, you still got a pretty nice mess there.

    Nice pic, Ski Trip!

Ouita is really tough. I can keep 10 or 12 each trip if I kept 11 inch or less. My last trip I finally caught a 13 inch. My last trip to nimrod (5 days ago), I caught 12 right in front of the anderson ramp and maybe 40 all together but all small ones, nothing over 10 inch. It will change in a few weeks I hope.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

I've sent word for ya to let me know and we will fish. I think cooler water has scattered them, we were doing better when it was hot.

The water temp here is 71-72 here. I fished my tail off today, and had 3 keepers. Yeah, it's tougher than a night in jail here....but, I'm startin to rut. My neck is swellin up.

Sent from my dad gum phone..
