Default Our boat's broke, so we're working on somebody else's boat.

Dad's boat motor quit on us while we were fishing at crappie camp. We've figured out that the stator & rectifier are bad. We're gonna replace them, the thermostats, and the impeller. While we are waiting on the parts to arrive via UPS, we're recarpeting someone's boat. Got to pay for the parts somehow!

    Here's a before shot:

Here's the progress we've made so far:

We haven't fastened down the deck or lids yet. We got a late start this afternoon and ran out of daylight, so we're not quite finished.

Looking good. It is hard work as I've recarpeted mine twice!

Thanks for the compliments! We should know what we're doing....dad has built boats for over 30 years. This is the 5th or 6th one he's done lately. I think if we advertised, we could stay busy all the time. Course that would cut into our time fishing...and we can't have that.

Lol that's the right thinking there AgriHawg. Looking good on the carpet job. You are way more skilled than me at that. I got a Jon boat and trailer project I'm going to do for my dad this winter and I hope it turns out half as good as what you've done so far.

Man that looks sweet AgriHawg. I need to revamp my Wareagle 1542 she's looking a lil beat up after 11 years of hard fiishing on Conway along with my trailer.

Considering ' Rhino ' sprayed in lining for my 14 flatbottom. Sure looks good and comes in light colors now. Has anyone used it and how do you like it ? Looks like it would quiet it down a lot. Thats sure a good looking carpet job !
