Merrisach Lake

I would like some info for fishing the Merrisach lake and area for some good crappie. I'll be there June 15 thru 17th.

I heard reports that the place was full of moss/weeds. That's about all I know.

I fished the lake hard friday. I saw one caught on minnow at about 12 foot in 14 foot of water around stumps. The lake is full of weed and they are poisoning it. That might have something to do with the bite. Bait was dieing in the holding bucket off shore. I got hit hard with a shower up the channel about 300 yards. The waterfront turned white and couldn't see the barge that was parked ahead. But still had a ball, can't wait to get back.
