    Default Going fishing to Beaver Lake this weekend


    hey all,

    i am going fishing for the first time in nw ark. specifically beaver lake and maybe some river or creek up there. i think we are going night fishin on fri night.

    what kind of gear would you guys say i should bring?

    remember i am a newbie.

    I would reccomend that you fish a sharp bend in the main channel in about 45' plus of water and fish down 10' to 20'. drive along a bluff wall and watch for a sunnden change in direction and fish there. Horseshoe bend is a good spot, so is Edens bluf. Put out a couple of submesable green lights and you should be on fish. Day time consentrate on fishing standing timber near the mouths of coves with black/chartreuse curl tail jigs, DEEP let it go down at least 45' and start bringing it up slowly.
