Alot of people see the fish pictures posted from us Lake Conway guys and think that it is easy to catch fish from Conway, the Fact of the matter is that Conway is a real difficult lake to catch fish out of until you have the time and experience with the lake, Conway is a shallow water lake, and it is affected differently by weather than your deep water lakes, not to mention there is so much structure in the lake, with the amount of structure in the lake it makes it very hard for a person to get a read on how the lake produces its results. Like one of Russ's later posts said " target rich enviroment" that makes it hard to guess just what trees or stumps or even brush pile they are holding on. Time and experience is all that you need to be sucessful on Lake Conway. Crappiepro, Conway, and Myself have got alot of year worth of time and experience on Lake Conway. The best advice I have for anybody when it comes to Lake Conway, is put the time in and be patient with the lake, success will come eventually. It can be frustrating to figure out Lake Conway but once you got it figured out you got it whooped. Being hard headed and not letting Lake Conway get the best of you will lead to your success.
Welcome to the home of the, boat eating, trolling motor busting, prop bending, lower unit smashing, stump filled mud hole called Lake Conway.
