The winner of the trash fish contest was Boatbuilder. He recieved the following for catch the trophy trash fish.

A BnM t-102 pole, tackle box full of tackle, spool of line, a $100 gift card to Walmart with an undisclosed amount used off of it, and an envelope containing an undisclosed amount of cash.

Congratulations to our Fall 2012 Trash Fish Champion. Feel free to use that as your signature line. Of the many fishermen present, only 3 were able to catch a trash fish today, while all caught crappie.

It was a catfish of a few pounds. Not sure of the weight since I didn't handle the weigh in. Now that he is equipped with some buckwheats, I expect he could compete nationally.

RCC: There was $18.84 left on the card. Nearly $35.00, a Bm pole and a assorment of baits wasn't too shabby for winning trash fish. I think I will trash fish again next year. It was great meeting everyone. We had a good time. Thanks for everything!!!!
