One last day of very hot weather before a cool down for Arkansas. A strong and fast moving cold front will enter the state from the north late today with thunderstorms developing and moving south with the front tonight. Some of the thunderstorms will likely be severe with gusty winds being the biggest threat, mainly in northern Arkansas. Those storms should exit to the south of the state during the morning hours Saturday. Skies will slowly clear behind the front and a much cooler air mass will move down into Arkansas for the weekend. Cool northerly winds will keep our high in the 70s and low 80s Saturday and Sunday with lows dipping into the 50s in many areas Sunday and Monday mornings.
