Ole Blackfish uses #10 or 12's. He likes a BIG bait. He brought some so big to Butla when we fished that we could have eaten em!!! They were bout 7 or 8" long, but the fish still hit em!!!!! LMBO.

I longline troll curly tail and stumphunter jigs 99.9% of the time but I do still like catching fish on long poles (spiderrigging) from time to time (1-2 times a year maybe?!?). I prefer meat and usually get the medium minnows (@ 2"-2.5") so the fish can see 'em.

I always try to use the size that matches what they are feeding on. Small after hatch and move up in size as season rolls along. But like said before your pretty limited any more to what they have on hand. I prefer using medium most off the time.

It aint the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog! I just want me a minner that will get in there and hunt for em.

I like a lively minnow, but not a large one. Mediums 2"-2.5" or so I would say. Although most of the time the minnows at the local bait shop either run short, long, or some of all sizes.

I keep this one cause I like it, I could afford a new one if I wanted one bad enough. Nimrod's catch offered to buy me a new boat if I'd buy the motor. Guess that being frugile is why I got a little something.

We catch Crappie on spinnerbaits Bass fishing, but those Mississppi hawgs must be pigs to hit bait that big.

It ain't about how big your minnow is, it's how you use it.
