Thanks guys I appreciate it. I'm still in charge of "District 11" which is Pulaski County and Lake Pickthorne (just across in Lonoke County), so Maumelle remains my baby. Speaking of which, I just taped a "Talkin' Outdoors" with Wildman Wilson about minnow production in Arkansas and some sorry fishing action we taped on Maumelle.

For the record, DP, the regulations on brush are not AGFC's, and if it were my call, it would not be this way. However, they do have their reasons which I understand.

We've stocked 210,000 fathead minnow adults in the nursery pond which will grow and spawn and then they will all go into the lake in December. I feel that forage and habitat are our two major battles to improve the lake and I'm working hard on both. I consider it my home lake and want it to be the best it can be as much as anyone.

I do appreciate you. This is the third state I have lived in; AGFC is the best. I didn't participate in the last structure day. So I can't complain. Hopefully, I am getting my life in order to be able to do things like that. Let me know what i can do to help.
