Why would that be the case? If you order something on-line you are buying from their home store (out of state) so why would we have to pay in-state sales tax?

It doesn't make sense but if there's a brick and mortar store in your home state then you have to pay state sales taxes. Kind of a bummer.

I believe it applies even if they just have a warehouse in your state. I rarely order from Cabelas, but it was nice to have the no tax offset the shipping costs when I did happen to order from them.

I agree the shipping seemed high from them but the no sales tax definitely made it easier to order from them.

They are opening on 8/30 and I'm excited to have it 5 mins. from my home. Great looking large store btw. located right off I-540 at the new(ish) Promenade Mall.
