Thanks for the report Possum. It's been hard this summer, but that seems like across the board (Nimrod excluded of course). I was just speculating with a fellow Maumelle crappie fisherman, and we were both hoping that it should start being a lot better with this cooling weather, and will last until turnover. We shall see.

I didn't intend to be so vague, tried to post a picture but failed again. The catch was 5 nice crappie and a catfish. Had the crappie for supper. Slow bite but a bite none the less.

I had a couple of good trips out there this summer. I stayed in the river channel and did real good where the river channel comes into the island down toward the dam.
