David and I will be at Columbus, MS in October also Russ...hope we see you on the water...been trying to get tuned up for it. We've never hidden the fact that we will absolutely pull out all the stops and use anything legally available in a tournament. We have always had a minnow bucket in the boat during tourneys and we did use them as needed. We just never have had to use them for pleasure fishing. So what if we come home with half a pound less fish than we would with minners? We still usually have way more than we want to clean. Sometimes I think that minnows may give enough advantage on a particular day to put the numbers over the edge for a win.....maybe by less than a tenth of an ounce but still a win is a win. Rest assurred that we will also have all the plastics in all the colors along with all the different style and color of jigheads and roadrunners available to use with or without minnows, whichever is working. When the money is on the table you got to be ready for anything they want!!!

Rcc you are right there is a bit of a differance in a crappie camp big Fish tourney and a Pro Level event. I would like to see JW enter one... I think he would do good as long as he remember's to bring Minnows. Ohh Ya i'll be fishing for a Crappie Master's National Championship this fall. I will be sure to let you and JW know how it goes. You can bet I wont forget to bring minnows. HAHA!!!
See even LUVPT admits to bringing minnows to a Tourney. I know that was hard for you Steve but thanks your taking the first step to recovery. LOL
